Two words for you: Chicken Spaghetti

I lost a good six hours to Pintrest yesterday. That being said I figured I better do something fantastic for my husband for dinner. The thought of me cooking in only an apron and heels came to mind. Then I came to my senses and went down stairs to the kitchen in my trusty VS sweat pants and T-shirt with my Pintrest recipe in hand.

Outcome: “babe you should be on the Food Network”

Now I’m not genius but I'm pretty sure The Food Network frowns upon cooks who use cream of chicken soup. I think I'm out. "Now, Do I feel embarrassed about cooking with cream of chicken soup? Hell no! I just bought a case of it last month. Should you feel embarrassed about cooking with cream of chicken soup? No Way! Some of my best meals have been made with it. That could be the reason my arse is about a solid three sizes bigger the last few years. I wonder if I should add that to the new year’s goal list, “do not cook with so much cream of whatever soup?”...Naw, already typed and printed the list. Maybe, next year.

P.S. Pintrest is the devil.

This year I will follow my New Year’s Resolution list.

I hope…

Every year seems the same, I write a long list of things I want and things I think I need in the hopes that I will have them by the following New Year. Two words for that… how lame.

 This year I thought of a new idea. Although still contains my wants, I also included some other things. Things I need to start doing daily. More H20 anyone?  Instead of the standard write it out with a pen & paper, I typed it out and printed it. I guess in my mind if it looks more official maybe I will follow it? Let’s hope.

I made four copies. One for my planner (yes I did just say planner, I am a total nerd and still cannot put my life on a tablet or sync my blackberry. I like a good old fashion leather planner) anyhow’… also taped one on my desk top monitor, and put one on the inside of the little note book I carry in my handbag. This way I see the list many times a day every day.  

Today I did follow the list.

My New Lisa Taubes Necklace & Naughty Dupe Handbag

I am a YouTube junky, and have been wanting and wishing for the “Loraine chain”. So for my birthday I ordered myself the 42” rose gold. It took almost a month to get it, but it finally showed up yesterday. I think I will get a ton of use out it, it looks fantastic with my Michael Kors rose gold watch.

Ok I lie.

I have not even put it next to it yet but I know it will look fantastic. I will even splurge on the yellow gold 5ft chain next. I have been dying over the David Smallcomb bracelets as well but my spending has been kind of out of control and I need to get myself in check. It really should be on the New Year’s resolution list.

Yes, I too have also been going crazy for the Studded bottom Alexander Wang Rocco bag that came out recently. What is stopping me from frosting myself with such a fine luxury you ask? The price tag of $875 I just can’t bring myself to spend that much on a bag. SOOO I did something naughty. I found a seller on Ebay that is selling bags that look remarkably close to the Rocco bag. The price…hold on here it comes…$36.00 and free shipping. Don’t pee your pants just yet, I need to see the quality of the bag when it get here. Stay tuned!

The lovely bag on the bottom is the Faux Rocco. Now I have not ever had the honor of holding the "real" Rocco but in these photos they look 90% the same. I think forgoing the other 10% to save $836.00 is fine by me. I am a girl who loves a deal! I am headed out to the mailbox to see is the Faux Rocco has arrived to brighten my otherwise boring day (I have a sore throat and head cold)

Welcome to my blog!

I started a blog a while ago but decided to start over…sometimes fresh and new is the way to go. That will be my theme for the upcoming year. WOW 2012, holy crap! I remember when it was1981 and Michael Jackson was doing the moon walk on the AMA’s. I just dated myself right there and would like to kick my own ass but as I sit here tired and somewhat hungry I’ll let it slide…this time.

I feel I should tell you a little about me. I love to shop, online mostly but do get to the stores and mall regularly. I’m not to the agoraphobic stage just yet. (However I feel it sneaking up on me) I am NOT a writer so don’t get all pissy about grammar and miss spelled words. I am obsessed with makeup and fashion. This blog will be mostly about new purchases and I’m sure a lot of ranting about this and that. I also plan on having my YouTube channel up shortly. (In case you would like to see my lovely face)

Now that you know a pin heads worth of info about me, and I have embarrassed myself with the whole age thing. I will show you my favorite shoes when I was back in said years!
